North Shore Century ride! The 100 mile route was closed due to flooding so I did the 62 route with an extra small loop on that route, then the 25 mile route but came up 3 miles short, so i had to do an out and back. It got hot and super windy, and it’s rough to start over when you’re already at the finish line...twice!

Since Vickie’s normal MTB is on the shop, I took my Fattie out too so she wouldn’t suffer alone. I forgot how heavy that bike is, and at some point I wondered why it was so hard to climb hills, until i realized i had a small ring in front which i wasn’t using. I’m so used to not having it, i totally forgot about it on this bike!
