Day 1 free weights - goes fast if everything is in super sets.
Then I assembled the bike and was pleased to see the giant golf bag the baggage attends saw fit to throw on top of my soft sided bag obviously containing a bicycle - caused no harm at all.
It was odd that the whole kit was soaked though.

Rolling the Sunday tri bike course with flight. A super flat course for being so close to gnarly hills. I did forget my snack and didn't have enough fluid, or any sun tan lotion - so not the best planning, but we hadn't initially planned on doing the second loop.
Much of the road was a bit rough - to the point I was thinking they routed the bikes on the worst roads in the area. There was also a fair bit of sand in some of the bike lanes.
But much better than the snow laddened trees we left - which were pretty, but not cycling friendly.

Road cycle 53:00 [4] 18.4 km (2:53 / km) +111m 2:48 / km

Rode home from the grocery store after lunch to get in my distance for the day. Riding immediately after standing around the grocery store was not a great idea, resulting in a heart rate much higher than normal for the pace. A good head stand session was required when I got back.

BUT: first day of March I rode my age. I haven't quite decided what the challenge will be, but I'm thinking I will count how many days I ride my age, and then each year as long as I don't ride my age any fewer days, I can consider myself NOT OLD YET.

trainer spin in street shoes - the extra sleep yesterday might have lowered the heart rate - the pace was the same as last week.
