Averaged 3:34/3:04 with is practically bang on what I was hoping for. Plan really was to alternate @ 20 seconds slower than goal marathon pace and 10 seconds faster than goal marathon pace which was 3:35/3:05 for an average. Actually thought that was going to be impossible and set up with a goal of 3:40/3:12 instead today given how dead I felt yesterday but I just ran each hard KM one at time and was able to recovery really well during the off KM's and still run well.

I’m super pissed off about not winning 10miler and have been doing everything possible since to get better. I let up at mile 8 ... I knew that was gonna be the hardest mile and I choked! Cause if we were together with 1mile or 1km to go it wouldn’t have even been a race and i would have destroyed him but I think he knew that and is why Scott pushed a 4:59 and 4:56 7th and 8th mile.

Coming off 195km 7 day prior to this, I'd say I'm by far the fittest i've ever been. Like it's not even close. Fairly confident that if I get a day like last year I am not gonna be scared of trying for 2:16:00

Shake out at camp in 96 degree heat. Might as well try and do some heating running in case grandmas is hot. Run wasn’t bad
