Very tired. Struggling on any sort of uphill but not too bad on the flats. Heart rate really started to climb for the same pace in the last few miles.

Arrived early so went for a short jog

Carnethy intervals.
Pyramid session on a loop. Each loop had about 1 minute of hard uphill running and 40ish seconds of downhill.
Did 1 loop with 30s rest, 2 with 45s, 3 with 1 min, 4 with 1:30, 4 with 2min, 3 with 1:30, 2 with 1 min and then 1 rep.
Went out a bit hard in the first half and faded later on. Andy Fallas showed up and shot off miles ahead every time.

Another day of awesome weather so out in the hills for something nice and relaxed. Up Howden glen, over Capelaw and dropping down to Glencorse. Up Castlelaw from that side then over Allermuir and Caerketton to Hillend and home from there. Still feeling pretty tired from the weekend.

Birnam results finally out. 43rd out of 240. Slightly disappointed with that as a position but with such a loaded field for a fairly small race its nor surprising and I know a few areas i need to improve on.

Easy to finish off the trip. Following through the groups route and catching them near the top of Lammer Law. Walked with them for a little bit then Alex and I went over to the summit. Over a couple of other wee bumps to a fort then down to a farm. Legs are feeling quite tired now
