Sgurr a Mhaim from Glen Nevis, Devils Ridge, Stob Ban and the one beginning with M!! Absolutely Baltic first thing. Ice on inside of van!! Tired legs but felt strong - a confidence booster much needed! Despite the grim climb at the start and the inevitable bog to finish, this was a brilliant circuit! Such a mix of terrain and it all changes on the way to Stob Ban when you start to pick up more grass and a bit less of the white rock. What a couple of days. Just a joy from start to finish.

CMD arête from Glen Nevis and back down the tourist route, through the forest back to vans at lower falls car park. A day of joy with Jeni. Much needed, have felt myself slowly unraveling over the last week, stressing over the small stuff. Anyway. We were undecided until we got to the Steal ruins, but I was holding out for the later start being enough to avoid the weather that came through earlier. We struck lucky!! Up through murk and mire to the bealach, but the low cloud stayed just far enough away. Wind howled across us on our way up to CMD, was blown off my feet a few times, but as we reached the summit we were in the lee of it and that was how it stayed all the way across the arête :-) fun fun scrambling, nothing too testing and we overtook many. Stiff haul onto the Ben - low on fuel. Dusting of snow and a queue to touch the summit cairn. So we didn’t stop long and headed down the Tourist route. Grim!! Delighted to finally reach the bottom!! Worked out the forest route and ran/hiked back to the vans. 23km al told. I switched off watch by mistake at some point!!

Trundle round Roseisle. Fairly uncomfortable but I’ve had worse and experience says it’s better to do something rather than nothing!

Barefoot on the beach with some paddling as well :-)

From Jon’s, home the scenic hilly route. Darnaway, Conicaval, Logie. Hilly and and a headwind, but also some alarming cross winds!!
Heel less inflamed than yesterday
2 separate sets of 15x heel lowers x 2 each foot. Quite interesting/bizarre how this has totally swapped from one heel to the other. No trace on the other side at all, yet the other week it was the other way round!!
