Road Running warm up/down 54:00 [2] 12.21 km (4:25 / km) +60m 4:19 / km

Easy warm up from Sierre to a nice stretch of the cycle road, Vajin joined in the session then ran back up to Crans Montana after. I’ve done the 1000m climb after the other flat sessions in the previous weeks but decided it’s best to start freshening up. Only 9 days until Zermatt marathon (with another race this Sunday), it’s come around quick!

Road Running intervals 24:05 [5] 8.0 km (3:01 / km) +30m 2:57 / km

8 x 1km (60s easy) out and back so I could get a drink every 2nd rep. Another hot day but didn’t affect the session. Aimed to start slow then work in to it but having company made a faster pace feel easy from the start and I just aimed to keep them a similar pace, picking it up slightly on the last half. Felt surprisingly good and finished feeling not too tired. Didn’t notice anything from the adductor so that’s the main thing.

Running, mostly off road 31:16 [2] 6.42 km (4:52 / km) +80m 4:35 / km

Easy run to the lake and forest, easy going. Legs a bit stiff from this morning but loosening off.
