was expecting nice flat water but it looked grey and choppy when I got to the beach so I just did a couple of laps of Browns River. I am certain I saw a dead seabird floating down the river, and I am fairly sure I saw a dead cat too - something furry anyway. Ugg.

shortened alum cliffs - didn't have much time and my stankle is a bit tender anyway.
