Walking (Dog walk) 39:25 [1] 2.25 mi (17:32 / mi) +85ft 16:56 / mi
shoes: Saucony Progrid Guide 3

Mid-day dog walk. I'm sure it was warmer than Homer's ideal temperature, but he always enjoys walks, and he enjoyed this one (at least he didn't complain).

My R knee has been problematic the last 2 days, in a totally different way than it has been in the past. It is somewhat swollen, sore, and with a distinctly reduced range of motion. It's also tender to the touch in multiple places. My previous problem, which was diagnosed as a torn cartilage, involved no swelling and no reduction in range of motion, and in fact no pain at all unless I had my weight on it and was going up or down stairs.

I have no idea what might have caused this, and I'm hoping it will disappear as fast as it appeared, never to recur.

The good news is that walking on flat ground (like today's walk) isn't too bad -- I'm aware of the soreness and limited mobility, but it's not what I'd call painful.

Very short walk from the Rec Center, while sitting out of pickleball due to my latest knee issue.
