Cycling race 59:33 [5] 40.0 km (1:29 / km)

Provincial Crit Championships Ottawa. Didn't have a great warm-up and the first 30 minutes were tough. Almost got dropped at one point. Felt much better during the second half of the race and moved forward in the group. Attacked on the hill with 6 laps remaining, sat up at the end of the straight away and rejoined the group. Attacked in the same spot on the 3rd lap, and didn't get enough and was caught in about the same spot again, rejoined and fell off the group on the hill, so just rolled the final lap out while the rest of the field crashed their way to the finish. There was a 4 man crash in the final sprint. Glad I missed that.

Alice's birthday cruise.Old Guelph line to Millgrove - Brock Rd. and Greensville. Caught in rain coming through Mac and it was hammering down by the time we got home.
Did a handful of high spin intervals (110 cadence). Felt good although it felt like a slight pull in my right quad. More wine tonight.

Hamilton TT usual course. Strong headwind during the ride out, and during the ride to the turn on the TT course. Felt the legs fade a few times. Rode with aerobars for the first time though. Not too bad. Considering the wind and how all the other riders times rose by about a minute, 30 sec from my pb isn' terrible. Lots of room for improvement though.
