8:22 AM. Long Progressive.

Nice run on this cold fall morning.
Didn't intend to do a progressive run, but got passed by a guy early on. Thought I'd try to see how fast he was running, since he seemed to be moving pretty well. Followed for about 400m then cut it back. HR then proceeded to skyrocket into unrealistic territory. Staying up around 160 for quite some time. I stopped, sitll didn't come back down. Then tightened the strap on the watch- and it came back to a reasonable rate of 122- which is what I felt it should be. For some reason the watch didn't tell me to turn around again, even thought I thought I'd set it to. Looked down at 47' so turned around later than I should have-hence the progressive run to try to make it back in 1'30. Didn't quite make it.
