BIlbys ride with a very small bunch of four of us. Standard cotter urriara loop, with gary and I on the front for a lot of it. Perhaps not the best city to surf prep as there was a lot of work to do into a headwind on the way back. Bit really good to get back on the bike after a few weeks off.

Bilbys intervals with kenny and lance plus the random thursday bloke. Three of us are doing C2S so we did a pretty gentle set of 6x the big field plus the lower field. The first four were at chatting pace then we picked the pace up a bit for the last two.

Back to bilbys and the good old bilbys warmup. It was a bit nippy so it dodn't go on for as long as usual.

A C2S special set of 1 big lap then 4 laps with efforts on the long sides. The first lap didn't seem too good, but got some good speed going on the shorter intervals.

Back in Canberra and no problem waking up in time for the cockies long run. A boys only group today with grantm, acejase and frogga with marymac doing her own run. Ainslie first, where I put a bit of an effort in on the hill which was at least good for warming up then over to majura, past study doyle carrying a couple of rocks, where we went up the gmft while grantm took the short cut up the direct track. Good to be back running in canberra with good company.
Deli marx afterwards where we were joined by miss jones, zaf and banjo. The new sleeper seems to be eggs on toast, but it looks like you have to order scrambled to get two bits of toast. I stuck with the bacon and egg roll, despite the run being 30 mins and 4 seconds short of the qualifying time.
