South Huron Trail Run. 8K, first half mostly uphill and last half therefore downhill. The time, 30.02, is more than 3 minutes longer than my PB on an 8K course but it was a pretty tough course and even if we started at 9.30 it was quite warm. Anyway, I don't really know how good/bad my performance was. Legs were a bit sluggish but they always feel like that when you have to push hard in a running race. Finshed 5th, 2.30 behind some UofW runners. However, this race also shows that I'm probably not as fast on the road/trail as I was ten years ago (I guess that shouldn't be any surprise).
