Orienteering (forest) 1:07:35 [2] 5.4 km (12:31 / km)
shoes: inov-8 oroc 280 red - 1st pair
In the Lakes for a few days of orienteering and wilderness camping with Christian.
After flying and getting stuck unnecessarily in a traffic jam on the M6 (I still know exactly what I'm doing on English motorways without having to look at any map, honest) managed to get out with a map on Bigland.
Saw an eagle, we think, well, a massive bird of some sort in any case. Also came across a pheasant but fortunately not across any shotgun pellets flying towards it.
Even though I've run here a couple of times before the fairytale forest exceeded my expectations :)
