Running OK at the start but ran out of legs about 1/3 of the way into the course! Good route to 1, missed the clear way to 2, wayward on 3, 4 was tricky in the green and I didn't make it easy, 5 - I exited 4 way too high and lost time in thicker/steeper terrain control was easy, 6 - left 5 too low avoiding the bad stuff I'd been in whereas I should have gone higher, 7 - not sure what happened dropped too low and then confused, 8 - Eoin had now gone past fine from here until 11, 11 - did not want to go back up as I'd come that way and knew it was green, but going straight through the same stuff was madness should have gone either up or down, 14 - wayward!.

Volunteered to go for a walk through Bungonia. Nice terrain and a nice day out. I think I was here last in 1991. Can still vaguely remember some parts. I think I need to hike that gorge again!

Took a lot of time to stretch beforehand, every weak I am creakier than the last.

Up at Guthega for a couple of days for some cleaning. Was planning on a running boot camp but it was too snowy. I took ski poles on tis hike as it was very icy and I had trouble keeping upright in places. Went to Spencers Ck bridge and back.
