Big race, just shy of 10000 people! 358th finisher.

Fairly happy with this, it was pretty windy and most of the impact of that was in the second half of the race. Also a bit more climb than I had expected until I looked at the route profile last night...
About 90-100secs slower than at Alloa this time last year, when I just sneaked under 4min/km.
Probably leg speed reps a bit lacking this year. (also probably carrying 2kg more than 1 year ago....)

Virtuous rucksack jog back, ignoring the oh-so-tempting shuttle bus. Not sure my calves were any more sore than on the jog down. Am thinking they will be tomorrow....
