Running warm up/down 30:00 [2]

long cool down

Running race 48:35 [5] 13.25 km (3:40 / km) +130m 3:30 / km

SOLA-Relay. Team "Kunigunde dreht ne 2. Runde".
Very cool race again. Started in ok speed 1k at 3.27. Then some slower and faster parts in the forest. Was nice to run with more or less equal runners. Got caught up on the downhill but on the flat 7k I could push and overtake many runners. Passed 10k in 36.20 but the time is not that meaningful as it had considerable downhill parts. After the 10k-mark the road got steeper and I could use all of my leftover energy (if there were any...). Last k was ok again. Handstopped time was 48.35. An improvement to last year of almost 4' (Conditions were perfect). Don't know the ranking yet, but I guess not too bad, as G.Lombriser clocked 44' something and he caught up the leaders...

obviously also very happy with the avg-speed

Official results:
1st G.Lombriser: 44:45
14th L.Reichmuth: 48:41

My performance took the team from the 165th place up to the 25th spot. After three legs we were comfortably placed on 16th spot (our best standing), but at this stage, we've used already considerable parts of our gunpowder. We ended up in 33rd rank. Pretty cool placing, some festivities at my place afterwards... ;-)

Orienteering race 23:54 [4] 2.9 km (8:14 / km) +75m 7:18 / km
ahr:178 max:198

Sprint-Training in my home forest. For me, not the perfect mix-> sprint in a forest. The training was organised by D.Schneider (Thanks again!). Considering the small group of participant the field was rather high-class. MM, FH and junior rocket MH aswell as additional National-Team members attended.
My race wasn't much to get exicted about. Numerous mistakes, due to bad direction and map reading didn't help at all, to make it a very pleasant memory. Neverthless. There's much to improve til Sunday.

I don't know yet who won the race, but I will get back to that.

-> it was M. Hubmann in 16.48

Running intervals 5:00 [5]

6x110m and 2x220m on grass

Running warm up/down 20:00 [2]

before the legs

Orienteering race 51:55 [4]
ahr:164 max:189

first time out for the 12h relay, run for the neighbouring O club.
Did a Long-Difficult leg, which included lots of street running. some hesitations in the circle and a few misses cost me up to 3'. Otherwise good and fast legs.

Orienteering tempo 24:05 [4]

after about 5 hours of waiting I could go out for a second time (considering the long wait, there might have been some runners who chose a too long, or difficult leg...). I did a short-easy leg!! Still managed to not run perfect. (maybe 2' mistake in total).

Orienteering long 51:58 [3]

third time out I took a short-difficult leg. And I have to addmit with about 7Lkm, the term "short" is only relative. Pretty technical in the slopes. Had a good run until ctrl. 5 where I say a young boy lying on the ground searching his glasses. I helped with the search and managed to located the glasses but one glass was missing so the search continued. After I while we stopped but the boy couldn't read his map anymore. I offered him to guide him through the course which we eventually did.
He wasn't the fastest so for me it was more like jogging with a map. Still not the cleanest run. Two controls from the finish he knew his way home and a increased the speed.

Orienteering race 28:22 [4]

As I wasn't so tired after these legs I decided after a short refreshment to tackle another leg so I did yet another short-easy session. It wasn't the trickyest course ever, in addition I knew already most of the controls from the previous legs. But I neglected my legs as they got heavier with every step. I couldn't push on the streets and in the uphill sections as it was, the two legs together a course of about 13 Lkm. Was happy to finish the race.

Note

all in all a great event. Credits must go to the oranising staff and to the OLG Galgenen, who dominated the event and clearly took the win.
