Note

I was pretty zombiefied on Saturday night at the Pennine do - still feeling the after effects of last week's illness. I've also developed a little Achilles pain in my right ankle. I had something similar last year (pump hump or something like that). I was hoping to get back on it this week after an easy one last week, but another week off to get myself sorted properly mentally should sort out any niggles that I feel are about to surface. I've got a big March/April planned so can't lose too much time now by trying to come back too soon.

A really enjoyable run in the snow around Kinder. Got a bit stuck in Cluther Rocks and was a bit pisspoor on the nav - should have just followed the tracks in the snow but I was trying to be clever. I was just pleased that I managed to keep on plugging away.

Running - Road 33:48 intensity: (31:48 @2) + (2:00 @4) 6.87 km (4:55 / km) +21m 4:51 / km
ahr:143 max:162 rhr:46 slept:8.0 shoes: Asics Afforest

Wanted to get a jog in before Sat and this was the last definite chance. Legs a bit heavy but moving quicker than I thought.

Got Simon Harding (Macc) and Tom Brunt starting 1 and 2 minutes behind me on Saturday. Hoping to hold them off as long as possible, and hang on similarly when they come past.

Note
rhr:60 slept:10.5

rhr through the roof and a pretty rough night's sleep. No improvement this morning so took the day off work, which seems to be working somewhat circa 14:00. Need to let body fully recover before I venture out again though - irritating as running is about all I've got to keep me entertained.
7 PM

Note

Feeling much more human now.
Quickroute from Sunday posted below. My legs went all end-of-MM after the microO

Note
rhr:44 slept:7.5 (rest day)

Still tired so no morning run.
After lunch started feeling a bit fluey - headache and shivers onset. Got home and piled into bed for 3 hrs and now feeling a bit better but will see how I go after a (much needed) good night's sleep.
Can't remember whether it's a cold or flu you feed or starve, so I stuffed my face anyway.

Note

oh yeah, and my arse is HORREDNOUS.
