Derwent Walk for a change. Hamstring/Groin seeming to play ball yesterday so decided to try it out properly again. Couple of km beforehand up to Lydgetts Junction at Castleside before hitting a 10km at Marathon effort down to Lintzford. Pretty windy and maybe some bad GPS but got it done. Hamstring/Groin tightened a bit after 7km of effort or so on a small rise and a bit tight the rest of the day but not sore.

South Park Darlington PR - 17:15 Had wanted a bit of a quicker run out after an easier week and something to test the hamstring/groin plus Jayne and Andrew were down for the weekend so was nice to join them for a bit. Took it out with another guy and worked well together for the first half before he slowly pulled away. Nice little course with a little rise at the end of each lap. Bit of a brutal headwind when heading south made things a little more trying. A bit disappointed not to drop below 17:00 but pretty happy in the main.

Quorum Session 2*5km @ M Legs still a bit tired from the 10miler and long run on Sunday so was glad for a more chilled session hitting the right paces but being a little passive and needing to pick it up a little towards the end of each rep.

Was going to be a couple of seconds up on the 2nd rep but hamstring/groin twanged a bit with about 50/100m to go. No pain but a bit of tightness after. Will rest up and hopefully get back to it soon!
