Road running race 1:05:35 [5] 10.0 mi (6:34 / mi)
shoes: Asics 2150 (ii)

Battersea Park 10 mile
The splits tell the story: 6:07, 10, 17, 26, 32, 39, 43, 52, 56, 48.
What a horrorshow (not in the nadsat sense). If anything it was worse as according to the markers my first mile was 6:00.

I was hoping for 62 minutes and even getting close to 60 didn't seem wildly optimistic. Not pleased at all with the time.

More annoying though is that the limiting factors (rusty from hols, tired/dehydrated this week, too much effort on Thurs, warm & humid morning, early start) were all obvious - I didn't even need hindsight to know that 6 min miles was too quick a starting pace.

Road running warm up/down 10:00 [1] 1.67 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Asics 2150 (ii)
