Cross Country skiing 2:15:00 [3]

Classic ski with Seani and Juliann. Weaved our way over to Sovereign to watch some of the loppet. Seani remarked on how professional Bart look. I felt proud. Was to busy there to ski the full length of the race so came back to Silver Star and skied in the glorious sunshine.

Long ski with Juliann and Bart. Feeling super tired. Planned a downhill ski with my new boots to try them out again. Damn boots, despite the fix, they are still not fixed.

skill: squat snatch

Workout: made me want to cry it was so painful. I tried to take my time to survive the full 17.3 challenge. If you don't make your first 8 mins your workout was done But it began evident quickly i would make it and so would everyone else so it was longer than i had planned for. I figured i could rest until the second 4 mins started but nope it was continuous and thus MORE painful.

First 8 mins:
3 rounds of
- 6 pull ups - modified as jump pull-ups
- 6 squat snatches with 35 lbs

3 rounds:
- 7 pull-ups
- 5 squat snatches

Then in 4 mins: 3 times
- 8 pull ups
- 4 squat snatches

Then in 4 mins: 3 times
- 9 pull ups
- 3 squat snatches

Then in 4 mins: 3 times:
- 10 pull ups
- 2 squat snatches

Then in 4 mins: 3 times:
- 11 pull ups
- 1 squat snatch

Total Time: 19:17

Early evening ski with my mom and Bart at Silverstar. Was a bit icy for skating. I really needed exercise having not done enough this week b/c of a super busy week. It took me over 45 mins to finally settle down. So glad to have a weekend of skiing ahead of me.

Easy run with Logan. Planned to do the nordic race but had a crazy day at work again and then my parents arrived. They didn't want to come so i stayed home.

200 skip, 30 air squats, 20 push ups x 2
WOD: 5 x 5 squats - lots of squats figuring out proper weight - green + black plate + bar
3 x max pull ups no kipping
3 x 10 dips on box
