Kayaking warm up/down 20:00 [3] 3.0 km (6:40 / km)

Kayaking race 46 [5] 0.2 km (3:50 / km)

K4 200m Straight final again still had a bad start but managed to get it together quickly and pulled up to 3rd on the line!!!

K1 200m heats again wasn't sure whether i'd be able to qualify so just went all out and was winning until 50m to go were i got a bit tired and drop back a few meters to 4th but still in the final

K1 200m final couldn't really here the starter so lost about a second on the start didn't really get back in contact and finished in 8th a second slower than in the heats

First race of the regatta K4 500m it went to a straight final because there were only 8 crews we started off pretty badly (all out of time) because we in a Vajda!!! for the first time got it together after about 100m and pulled up from 7th to 4th in the last 400m then the idiot in the front missed the water and tipped the hole boat!!! (luckily we'd crossed the line)

second race of the regatta K2 500m this went to a final as well but with 9 crews no mucking around this time though had a really good start and kept with the leaders the hole way until we missed a stroke near the finish and the other three crews that were still with us took 1,2 & 3 and we got 4th by about 10cm grrr

K1 500m heats had no idea whether i'd qualify or not so just gased it the hole way and just qualified by getting 4th (only a few meters behind the winners)

K1 500m final had a head wind this time (thats why the time is slower) i had qualified slowest so it was good to get 7th in the end but i was still 2 lengths behind the winner!!!

went for a run in the evening with Aaron and his dad ran down the road from our house tried to get down near the lake but ended up going up these hills in the bloody HEAT!!!

Orienteering training at Canterbury University (Similar to Oceania sprint map) did a map memory exercise where we had to look a piece of map that showed one leg memorize it and run to the next control. Legs were feeling surprisingly good and felt i could really push hard (this lead to forgetting where i was going) found the actual navigation quite hard though because I'd run into the courtyard where the control was supposed to be then I'd have no idea whereabouts in the courtyard it was...

Last Kayak before Rotorua so just easy 6km with the rest of the people going up... then we had to put all the boats on the hire van.

got to Kayaking kinda early so went for a run with Aaron ended up going further and faster than planned but it was still ok had to put a bit of effort in to keep up with Aaron though...

4x400m intervals at athletics felt ok but the last one was a bit slow only me and Aaron doing them today everyone one else had an excuse to be lazy...

Felt really good tonight even after the intervals started off doing scissors and made 1:50 then did some flop and got 1:53 finally over 1:50!!!
