Taped my ankles and took a hike, mostly on the park road, while Glen re-ran a UsynligO course at Hickory Run SP. I did venture onto the Ridge Trail between the maintenance area and the road ford; picked up a stick for a hiking pole and went slowly due to rockiness and the occasional downed branches blocking the trail (at the start, for one thing!). Almost 60.

I made it up to Camp Shehaqua about the time Glen finished the course, so we walked back to the car together.

D&L rail trail S from the Tannery parking lot at Lehigh Gorge. We checked out a couple of old locks from the mid 1800s (a 30-hour rainstorm washed logs down the Lehigh which destroyed some of the locks in 1862), and Mud and Sandy Runs...too many small trees in the way for a good view of Hickory Run. Leaves are turning, adding some yellows and reds to the hillsides, but this area is not at peak yet. Mid 60s, sunny.

Wore HR strap, but am pretty sure it didn't have good contact. 185 seems rather high. :-)
