Hmmm. Aus Champs are over & time to get sorted again. Has been a crazy year up to now, with a number of unexpecteds. Body seems pretty happy on the whole atm. Recent carnival results woeful. Had thought I'd be feeling unfit and would struggle because of that but in reality it was my brain that wasn't in tune with going orienteering. Guess that might be to be expected, given I've been on the go since Easter. August NOL was the real killer, just hadn't pictured how brain tired that would make us. Not that it's a regret, just something to know for next time.

Doing best to get long runs in now before weather too disgusting. First 40 mins 'hilly' with up/down/up /down route around school hill/museum, approx 10 mins per direction before turniing around to repeat in reverse. Then knees getting twingy so swapped to flatter, heading out to Lake Alex running the sand/rocks where possible, finishing back at the laneway end near the markets because realised yesty that had forgotten to book meeting room for tomorrow's club meeting! Had to wait until 9am for MP office to open but luckliy meeting room free in morning tomoorow. Massive relief at not having to house clean in prep for emergency meetiing venue:)
