Steady run through woods, round fields and along Roman Rd to beyond Butt Lane and back. Groin was fine but pain developed at top of thigh. Was a lovely afternoon even though.

Instead on racing went to the gym... warmed up with 10 mins and cool down for 5 afters.

Aimed to maintain 70 rpm which got hard after a while (on L16) then increased to L18 by the end. Also did odd mins without the arms which felt like running through deep heather/marsh! All in all, pretty decent.

Treadmill Running warm up/down 9:15 [2] 1.0 mi (9:15 / mi)

Easy jog on the machine after the XT... no problem with groin.

Painful run to school - only 12 hours recovery wasnt enough and really struggled up through Cambridge. Thigh got sore, probably adjusting to the groin pain.

Back from IVC... felt reasonable, although groin got a little uncomfortable by the end.

ET VO2 Max session (L16): 5 x 4 mins with 2 mins rec - keeping rpm over 70 and 80 on the last one (intense!).
