43.332km with 233m climb in 1:39:09. Started work an hour earlier than before so I could get out for a decent ride and get back before it started getting to chilly.

Flat lands zig zag but opposite way on most bits to last time worked well. Feeling fitter on the bike. Training works!

A ride of 3 parts cruse out to Earlswood village hall. Do 2 hour mtbo from 2017 then get myself back home into the breeze.

Out was nice apart from the one bit of bridleway which someone has fly tipped a pile of junk over so was a cary to enter then very rough from the horses. Changed out of warmer top to lighter one and left my bag with food and extra bottle around side of Hall.

Did the mtbo the opposite way to in 2017 using phone for route. The has been a lot of felling. Bw up from 2 in a bad way with branching was a push up all the way. Just about dry enough to avoid the sticky stuff on top far track. Descending from there a section with lots of trees down over path meant a couple of minutes in the brambles carrying. Meant to do a loop of the little hill above dam but just past a pair of walkers when wanted to turn and double back so dog leg the next one. 1:42 compared with 1:48 but not really navigating and not stopping to punch so similar.

Bit of food and the slog home into the breeze was a struggle. Road bike would of been nice but I did not mind on the way out.

Another round at some of the bramble shoots still left in the ground. Getting the roots out quite well on the gravel. No green bin collection so I am going to end up with quite a pile of stuff in front of the kitchen window before I am through.

37.117km with 242m climb in 1:30:16. A zig zag over the flat lands. A couple of new bits of road for me which was good. Came home straight down the A38 which I never do but with so little traffic it made a nice change.
