My life continues to be a voyage of discovery. Quite exhausted now, emotionally not physically, which is just fine, just as it should be.
And late this afternoon, driving my brother back to the airport on my way home, we had the most wonderful hour's conversation about our lives and our parents that we never ever could have had until very recently. I don't think it's inaccurate to say that while I may have lost a parent, in a very real sense I have gained a brother.
