Didn't get to sleep til 3am last night, so today was pretty much a write off. No big partying unfortunately, just a mixture of heat, tiredness and anxiety. So just as fun.
Eventually dragged myself out. Felt very average but better for getting out the door at least.

Sussing out tempo loops. Drove up to Victoria park with a couple in mind, trying to find a nice undulating loop with no big sustained climbs, not the simplest task in christchurch, where it's either dead flat or big climbs. Found two 7-8min loops, one around Vic park, and the other up along the ridge. Think i'll go for vic park as it's sheltered, more undulating, and only have to deal with people and dogs, rather than mountain bikers and sheep.

Mt pleasant up and back from home. Took the climb pretty easy as i seem to have a low grade lurgy this week (or it may just be the feeling of being back at work).
Think it's my right adductor that's being grumpy and twinging the pelvis. Still much much better than it was August - November though.

Felt reasonably good, but a bit of a twinge in the pelvis. damn it.

standard monday loop around sugarloaf. Nothing much to remark on the run, except the grass is now head high, so i get grass rash on my arms rather than my legs now.
Oh, and there was a couple in the car parked behind me on the street having a wee rendezvous haha. I was confused when i started my run cos i could hear a car engine going but only see empty parked cars around. But yeah, mystery solved when I ran past at the end of my run and a surprised head popped up from the back seat! Not sure why they were so shocked, they were parked up on the side of the main running/biking road into Vic Park, with the engine running the whole time, not exactly private. Gave me a good laugh though

Thought about going for a jog. But then reconsidered. Decided to update AP instead.
Then got tired and didn't update much AP (the sprint is there now though)
