Man I woke up with some soreness in my legs; the quads and hams. I don't think it was from that short run, maybe the kicking I was doing or both. I know I haven't been running but I just can't believe a short run that wasn't even 3 miles left me sore like that but maybe it did. I also was feeling my heel a little but it seemed to be in a different spot it felt more like where the achilles meets the bottom of the heel that is probably from not running. I will see how I feel tomorrow and decide if I am going to do another 20min run or not.



Well at least the bike is getting stronger and stronger every week. Even though I haven't been riding long I didn't feel tired. Erik was doing some strong riding today. We had a solid section of about 27mph on the road bikes and I was sucking wheel and holding 300+W.

well I thought I was swimming well today, was doing the 150's in low 1:50's and the the 25's were in 15 to 16sec. I thought I was kicking pretty good and was feeling my legs a little tired. I almost thought I was kicking too much until Jim comes over and tells me that my kick is weak and that I have to kick harder! Oh man. I guess I have to work on my kick. Dickie was once again throwing down some fast kicks!

I just felt really tired today. My back and core were really tired. I have been swimming a little harder at the Y and today's work out was more of a fast Friday style workout.

decided to do deep catching today. I think I swim better with the deep catch. I can feel my abs, chest, shoulders and back getting a much better workout. It also doesn't seem to elevate my HR as much. Maybe I a swimming too slow. Kicking is still horrible. I put on the snorkel and was kicking 100M with arms down at my side and it was taking me 4min! Not trying to kick fast just a nice steady kick.

I think this was the most people I have seen at the Y. They actually had two pools going. I started off pretty good and then just fell apart. Maybe I started off swimming too fast and blew up don't know. It didn't feel like I blew up but the pace kept getting slower.
