Perfect morning. Do not recall having seen this many runners out at this time, all individuals or in pairs. I can understand, we haven't had many mornings like this lately. Took it easy, resting my tired legs from the long hard rides yesterday and looking forward to ski practice tonight.

Perfect afternoon, an easterly breeze with mild summer temps. Noticed a mom pushing a double stroller and then a cap that must have been drop by one of her twins. She had noticed already, I picked it up and brought it to her. Dogs were happy to follow every scent along Energy Park and the tracks. At the bottom of the Hamline pedestrian bridge I was greeted with a "Hi Christian" by a young woman I did only vaguely recognize. She introduce herself as "Linsy, Josh's wife," just a few houses from us. "Josh, the brewer?" I guessed. That's who it was indeed. I recalled him because he had brewed 40 gals. of beer for their wedding party. How could I forget him.

EU MYR: 5 x 6:00 Skate Intervals L3

EU MYR: 5 x 6:00 Skate Intervals L3. Fantastic conditions for a hard workout. Not too warm, low humidity, dry pavement even in the typical spots. My legs a little tired from biking but that's OK. Started with a warm-up, followed by some technical drills; lock & load, lock & load plus step, small V2. Then the serious stuff. There were some "guests," John was there, still recovering from his valve job, Mike B was there and Kitty and Heather made an appearance. Fun! I could not keep up with Anatoly, Mo, Jamie and Mark. But Jamie got slower, I understand, just back from vacation. I did most by myself, based on my HR hitting probably a little harder than L3. But you live only once. I thought I was done after 4 times, lost track. Fortunately, I was able to finish the fifth without a hitch. I do love these hard workouts.
