Running (trail) 1:02:40 [4] 11.62 km (5:24 / km) +44m 5:18 / km
shoes: red new balance trail

Stoney Swamp - P10/Lime Kiln start
Colour the map / trail run (upto waypoint G...beaver pond) while Colleen did her walk-run-tervals (started with a 5 min walk as w/u along Moodie to the quarry and back ...not counted)
Checking out the GPS I got from the internet (Richard Woodley...mountain biker?) and used to make my updated map of this section of SS. Between his and my track I have refined the map of this section quite a bit from the Dec 2015 version and hope to have a training session there in the next few weeks...Lots of good open woods with field areas border the trails. The trails come in all varieties from wide dirt tracks and wood chip expanses to tight turned rocky and rooted trails...Didn't cover the very small trails Andrew and I explored south of the kiln ruins to the open woods bordering the quarry nor the overgrown questionable areas I spotted or saw on the aerial.
Great fun in this area...Saw lots of wild turkeys and a blue heeler!
My goal this Fall/Winter....make this whole section including the beaver trail o-quality for a winter snow-ski o.
PS Forgot about wipeout at the end of the first rocky section...shoulder hurts now (7 PM)

Hiking with Andrew around the beaver trail paths up to D-E on the Lime Kiln trail

Note

Forgot to note this for future reference....5 Persied meteors seen in the backyard in ~ 50 min...not bad for in the city a night away from the peak.
Thought I saw the ISS but it was in the wrong spot of sky at the wrong time
