Orienteering 1:20:00 [3]

Orienteering at namadgi. It was awful - so thick and scratchy. I could hardly ever run because I was either lost or it was too thick! Not keen to run on that map ever again! I made so many mistakes too so it wasn't very fun.

Middle distance event at kowen. It was such a nice day and the course was so fun! Loved it.

Running intervals 47:00 [5]

Intervals on the ovals with Al - 6 x 2' (1' jog recovery) and then 6 x 30" (30" standing recovery). Ran at a good pace and felt good - last couple of sprints were tough! Was really fun in a hard-run kind of way! On the warm down home my foot and hip flexor a bit sore (well, more annoying than sore) but glad i've booked in to see physio next week.

Rode up Black Mtn twice on way to work. 14:15 and 14:35. Was tough but quite fun.

shoes: Nike Lunar Glides

Intervals at lunch at black mtn/little black mtn: 1', 2', 3', 4', 3', 2', 1' all with 1' jog reocvery except 2' after the 4'. Still have a niggle in my hip flexor which is annoying - its not like its bad or anything but just don't quite feel right. It was much better after I warmed up though, the later intervals were better than the first ones. And happily my foot feels much less sore today.

Recovery run around Aranda. Legs felt weary but not too bad, but today's complaint is about my foot. It's really sore on top of my foot, it feels bruised. Am feeling like a bit of a whinger at the moment!
