Decided to try out the Cybex cross trainer, since it looked like it may be useful for XC ski training, and I'm in a world of hurt with a ski-o next week and no snow for a second practice session. Maybe I'll have to do White, since the preliminary info says that is 3.34K.
So, I tried the interval setting on level 6, which generated 30s @ 50 resistance and 60s at 30. I wasn't quite coordinated enough to keep up a stride rate of 150, but I still was able to keep the heart rate mostly in the 130s.
