I find it remarkable that you can get up at 5:45 for anything, much less a 20 mile run, and yet 8 hard miles induce procrastination.

=) Am I being called a hypocrite? But yeah. I think it's more a fact I knew I could procrastinate and still get the 8 mile run in the evening, but there was no way the 20 miler was going to happen after work...

Yeah, I've run into the same thing - real mileage must be in the am and often means an early wake-up. No snooze button even possible! Think I'm trying 15 from home to work this week, we'll see. Nice work on your 20 at pace!

I can hardly call anyone a hypocrite or anything else early in the morning. Or on hard workouts.
