sometimes when i read your entries, i think '32' or even '29'. exhausted? next day no problem. good to go. plenty of beers? pastries? next day, no problem. Hmmm, a lot of people would like to know your secret:)
Ha ha! Well, the first three races last weekend were totally flat and kinda short. And then on Sunday, I was never confident enough of my location to actually run...I was moving at a snail's pace. So last weekend wasn't as physically punishing as a series of steeper, longer events would have been. (I was tired from lack of sleep, though.) And, generally, I almost never have more than one beer at a time...
I will be sore & exhausted next week, for sure: I've over-committed on two races for this weekend and a hiking challenge next week. Gotta work off those pastries... ;-)
