You could paddle the Beaver. The bakery in Heathcote is open - and really wants business to come back! And the Bruce Trail is open, Pretty River is open, and we saw a grand total of 2 couples on the trail we hiked and the same number in 2 +hours on the river. Mind you that was a Wednesday not a weekend.

We may sneak up for an overnight this month to check on our place, and I could pick up some of the things that I wish I'd brought home in mid-March. I grabbed our big bottle of hand sanitizer when we came home that time but I also should have brought all the food, puzzles and toilet paper! They have almost no active cases up there so we'd have to be super careful not to interact with anyone up there or along the route.

I don't think you need to "sneak" at this point. You do need to keep your distance of course.

The Town of Collingwood is still asking people not to make day trips up there until the State of Emergency is lifted, including taxpayers with recreational properties in town.

So it would still feel like a sneak trip. Some of our neighbours in Silver Glen (although not our nice next door neighbours) feel quite strongly about it, as many of them are at higher risk. To ensure we have zero impact, we'd plan it so we don't need to buy gas or go into any place of business.
