The Town of Collingwood is still asking people not to make day trips up there until the State of Emergency is lifted, including taxpayers with recreational properties in town.
https://www.collingwood.ca/council-government/news..."There currently is no enforcement, 'barricades', or fines so at the end of the day we are appealing to informed, responsible people to stay home and help us all get through this public health emergency together. Let’s continue to watch the provincial, federal, and health unit rule and work together to put COVID-19 behind us."
So it would still feel like a sneak trip. Some of our neighbours in Silver Glen (although not our nice next door neighbours) feel quite strongly about it, as many of them are at higher risk. To ensure we have zero impact, we'd plan it so we don't need to buy gas or go into any place of business.
