Tues & Wed are $14 night around on Onslow Road :-) I'd avoid the chinese....
I still yearn for the Jolly Friar :( RIP
We went to the chinese a few weeks ago and thought it was good, even Liam liked it.
They must have improved when they went from a big restaurant into the smaller new place when they rebuilt after the hail storm. Maybe new people?
The new fish and chip shop is Ok but not as good as the Jolly Friar.
The Japanese is also excellent
RIP to Pavarotti’s as well :-)
... and the Jetty far better than Jolly Friar
PS - sounds like a great and well prioritised way to spend the day!
I was a bit suss about the Chinese because I had stomach troubles for about a month after that meal, but no one else did so I don't think I can blame them.
Craig was pretty disappointed when Pavarotti's closed too.
I did manage to get some food in a trolley in the little bit of space left after putting two kids and some shopping bags in. The only damage was to the basil, which got stomped on while the kids played a squishing each other game, which they thought was hilarious. Not such a good game for the food.
It's ok, basil isn't food.
...better than the Jolly Friar. Pfft. Maybe for fish and chips. I loved my Jolly Friar burgers.
I can't remember any any of Jolly Friars food, but I do remember Bubble Bobble.
couldn't go past Greco's (original one) in the mid 90's now that brings back memories...
Taking after your Dad eh Juffy? No green stuff thank you, that's for rabbits. I think Liam is going to join you. He's decided he doesn't like lettuce or spinach except if it is hidden in sandwiches.
Greco's was good. Seems like an age ago now.
