...you're missing a zero there. 3 hrs 10 min? If not, all I can say is WOW, you're even faster than I'd imagined! :)

and also pretty sure you can "complete" the gatineau loppet. How come you are not doing the point to point classic race?

Ang, do you have any children? I would love to do both days of Gatineau but child care is always an issue when it comes to having time both for training and racing.
and yeah I don't type that well so there's a missing 0

I was just thinking the classic race instead of the skate race. Doing both is a bit nuts.....I'm signed up for both but who knows if there is enough incentive to go out again on Sunday especially after getting a buff on Saturday already.
My son is all grown up and moved away to Arizona so I have lots of time. I remember when he was still at home, there wasn't much time for training or racing.

It's easier for us to use Sat. as a travel day to get to Ottawa, then do the Sunday race. Monday is a holiday ("Family Day") for us so we can relax afterward on Sunday and take our time getting home Monday. The idea of a point-to-point classic race is appealing, but having everything ready and rushing off Friday after school to get to Ottawa late and start early the next morning is daunting. My son is unlikely to ever move away and he likes road trips and hotels so we were able tp please everybody last year at the Gatineau and hope to do the same again this year. Looks like there will be plenty of snow!
