Discussion: TV?!? At the Doughty's? P...

TV?!? At the Doughty's? Perish the thought? Big HD on the basement wall is coming next for sure...just in time for playoffs, right?

ah no. I can't actually even turn it on, never mind press the right buttons to watch anything besides the "schedule". When Goose last talked to Bell our phones were going to be cheaper as part of a "bundle" that included TV. We were supposed to have had it set up for the Olympics, but Maria wouldn't let the guy in when he came in Feb. So he came back last week. So far, I hate it. Honestly I cannot figure out how to use it. I guess a lot has changed in the 20 years since we last had TV. How have I managed to live without it? Unless I learn how the hell to use the remote and all the stupid little buttons I won't be watching TV for another 20 years. And when Goose did get it to actually show something there were so many bloody commercials!! Way more crap than it's worth if you ask me.

You need a PVR too. Then you don't have to watch any commercials. It's the only way!
