Trail running 46:27 [3] 5.1 mi (9:06 / mi) +104m 8:34 / mi
shoes: Altra Lone Peak 4.5

Spruce Hole: 3 x backside hill climb in the middle of a relaxed run
With a bit of a lower back/glute swelling - I went carefully on a relaxed pace, but needed a bit of a hill training before Loon. I was very careful on the downhills.

Took a break from running. Pleasant evening for a ride.
I did not stray far from home due to ever changing thunder clouds. In the end all remained dry. Legs felt weak during the first half - it has been a while!

Cycling - Bianci Mt Bike 26:47 [1] 2.88 mi (9:18 / mi) +14m 9:10 / mi

Bike to near our swim place - w. Nancy. Then home via a little detour around the Hole.

Swimming 21:22 [2] 0.3 mi (1:11:12 / mi)

Lamprey River: The water was cold and refreshing after a few days of on and off rain. Also a strong current, so good workout upstream, Great feeling to be able to cool off in this god-awful humidity.

Road Running 38:04 [3] 5.16 mi (7:23 / mi) +98m 6:58 / mi
shoes: Altra dark gray (Torin 4)

Dover Pub Run
Started up Washington for a change. Huuumid and hot! Drip fest! Legs - and every thing else felt heavy. I did not feel of doing a "warm"-up run - did stretches instead. And I had absolutely no ambition to catch up with Remi and Chris!

shoes: Altra Lone Peak 4.5

Exploring the "mountains" in the lower lands...
Nottingham, Neville, McCoy and Fort. Some time spent sightseeing and map reading. A nice discovery for me. Fort is a "training" hill: gradually climbing dirt road up to the TV tower. 0.9 mile, 580 ft climb. Tough!
McCoy had no trail, so scrambling up and down on the top half. A few hikers on Neville and and Fort. Must be a holiday ...

Road Running 1:04:55 [3] 8.5 mi (7:38 / mi) +174m 7:11 / mi
shoes: Altra, Escalante

To Lee and a bit out on Lee Hook.
A planned easy run turned into a bit of a hill workout.
So be it on this cool Independence Day.
