Easy post race run. Legs have small amount of DOMS but not as much as I would have expected. slight twinge below right knee. No other issues, no injuries. Looking forward to getting next race planned.

Wore inov8's race ultra shoe in the end, just because toes box is spacious. Weather unbearable, steady for first half until sun went in and then felt stronger and moved easier. Plenty of learning experiences along the way in terms of managing myself in the heat, pacing to feel and nutritional strategies. Very disappointing and poor performance, no excuses other than fitness levels.

Trail run early doors before the heat. Legs ok, not feeling springy, however don't feel heavy either. Followed session with streches and stride outs x8
