Night-O with Valerie. Lots of fun. Didn't go the way we intended for 4 but figured it out quickly enough although it took us a while to find a way down the steep slope near the end of the leg. Then I got turned around in some mountain laurel out of 5 but that Vaalerie kept her head and got us to the trail.
What do I need to do to add my track to Livelox? Nevermind. Figured it out!

HIking the Boulder Field trail from Rt. 354. I turned around after 90 minutes even though I hadn't made it all the way to the boulder field since I had told Dennis I would be back in 2-3 hours and didn't want to worry him. It was a lot slower going than expected since there was some snow on the ground (unexpected since there's none where I am), several places where the trail was under water and I had to bushwhack to find a way around, and the rhododendron tunnels were tough to get through since there were branches laden with snow bent down across the trail that I had to work my way through. It was a little faster coming back since I had knocked a good bit of snow off on the way out so many of the branches had sprung back up and out of the way. Completely soaked mittens and shoes by the time I finished and I dumped a bunch of snow out of the pockets of the safety vest I was wearing and the small pack I had on when I got back to my car. I was getting tired by the end but it was a fun outing.

1' jogging, 3' walking for 40 minutes plus a short warm up and even shorter cool down. Very happy with how that went. Incline varied every 5 minutes but was always under 7% so nothing real steep.
