A wee jog up Glengarra sort of en route to Cork for a wonderful dinner, tasty lamb and scrumptious rhubarb fool yum yum yum. Did one km fastish on the way down the valley.

Swung an emergency appointment at the Embassy, so went up to Dub, said hi to a couple of relations, checked in to a hotel around the corner from the embassy and went out for a jog by the sea, south first then north/east. Nostalgia took me a bit further than I intended, Andrew should have been there.
Trouble sleeping... midnight by the time I'd eaten/showered/relaxed some, a bit later a spring upstairs started creaking rhythmically, then a bit after one some woman elsewhere really started moaning, that went on for longer than expected, and then the radiator joined in, vibrating tonally all night whenever the heating came on.
Then up at 7 for a good breakfast, before heading out to join the people queuing on the street in the cold, dark, wet and wind to be allowed through security in order to humbly ask permission to go back across the pond.
Tide was out, so got to run around the coast Dunmore East direction. Apparently the peninsula SE of where I turned was a hangout for slaves en route to the US, only discovered that a week ago.
10º, saw cherry trees in bloom a couple of days ago.
