Good job Jason. Well done.

Sounds like 5Peaks has done a great job in general in course marking this year though. That was their downfall (poor trail marking) a few years ago.

Thanks H. 'Bent missed a turn a few months back as well and cost him some time. Good race, just a bummer that happened, partly mine partly theirs but whatever - i recognize the difficulty in marking such a course. I joked with the kid on the podium that he was lucky. He knew it too because i was basically chasing his mom on the way to the finish till she dropped me close to the finish - she dropped her son a few k back (same lady who beat me in a sprint to the finish in the last 5peaks).

Thier prizing and sponsorship is really good. Apparently i'll get a 10-15% discount at MEC in the near future (for anyone who raced this year i think?). Got a cool toque this time around as swag too!

Way to go Jason. Nice to see the hard work has paid off. Everyone should try tapering in New Orleans once I guess :)

Hi Jason, my name is Mike and I am a buddy of Homey's. I too raced in the Albion Hills race (on a sprained ankle at that). I did the 15km Enduro run.... I agree with the flagging comment. I almost got lost twice and I know the area you are talking about. My buddy missed the technical section as well almost 6km of race..... Wasn't that last 4km BRUTAL.... Nice job finishing 2nd in age group regardless... Cheers

Great job at the race.
Hey, are you still adventure racing? I am thinking about the Bark Lake race but still need a team...any interest? E-mail me at research@cedarlanelabs.com

If not, Pete Dobos and Mark Honsberger are looking for a 3rd after their teammate had to drop out. They'd prefer to stay Coed, but if they don't find someone soon, perhaps they would switch.
