Perhaps an earlier timing snafu? I didn't stick around for medals. :(

~36 of ~442 overall. Thought the lead pack was longer, maybe I got some on the hill.

Good job! One of these days I will convince myself to run 10K.

What is this HWT category thing?

Heavyweight. Not sure why they have it (same as sport vs expert in biking and the resultant sandbagging rage), but handy sometimes.

So the HWT categories include an age grade adjustment which is in some versions of the results but not on the searchable results. That explains the discrepancy. Time to get thinner and faster and run my age.

Cool! I haven't run a 10K for years. I'm doing the Color Run 5k in a few weeks at my girlfriend's pace, it is an untimed event anyway. I think my next "event" might be the Mastodon Celtic Challenge at the Saline Celtic Festival in July. It is a mud/obstacle race I did last year. It was a hoot, but I can't remember if they timed that race or not...
