I was at 281st at 1.8km (15:20)
then 279 at 4.1km (34:17)
then 277 at 6.6km (58:03)
then 271 at 8.4km after a long horrid road leg (72:11)
then DISASTER 10 minute whitey - 302nd at 9km - 14 mins to do a 600m leg. 31 places lost PHiL HOW COULD YOU? (90:23)
then 297th at 10.2km (5 places regained) (100:05)
then 295th at 10.6km (2 places up) (102:19)
finished 292nd. (3 more places). (104.17)
so very, very depressing :(
I did in fact, thanks to that error, push our team down, through useless orienteering. I could have done so much better.
