this was kind of meh. was trying to ride the line between "doing something but not doing too much" in light of the upcoming race. feeling like i took a few more steps back these last 10-14 days, partially my fault but partially not much i could do about it. just wasn't feeling super snappy.

just a quick one today before heading back home. ran with somppi, we started at knox and this time it was a 368m ascent! slow avg pace but was still a grind.

this was my chance to do a workout haha. only ended up doing 6x1min pickups. stayed on a flat route. it's just been way too nice to unwind and de-stress and feel totally relaxed. i think if i were at home it would have been easier to get back into training but it was hard to prioritize it.

promised myself i would swap days and do a long run on Monday... totally didn't happen, woke up and felt like a corpse. wasn't even hungover, just exhausted
