Day 4- Greag Choinnich
Knee felt weak but was fine just being careful. Was a bit hesitant on #2 and came a bit high and far right. Nearly at #3 when I saw what looked like a pit so thought it must be that but it was actually a re-entrant by the looks of it. Was so tired to #4 I was just walking bits of the track. #6 I just took ages to get up onto the path because I was exhausted, thought I was going to #9 but luckily realised before it was too late.

day 3- Birsemore Hill
Was an average race, stood about 10m from #5 not sure where else it could be because I couldn't see it for like 15 seconds, #6 a bit slow. Was still doing well though, I think 5th or 6th according to winsplits at #8. However coming out of #8 hit my knee on a rock and just couldn't move so just sat down for a couple of mins. Hurt so much I was almost in tears. Got up and tried to carry on running but it gave me such a sharp pain I had to stop again and ended up nearly in tears again. Decided to walk the rest because there was no easy way back. Was still slow to #10, was harder because it took me ages to get down the rocks. From #8 to #11 I kept trying to run every so ooften but it was so painful I eventually gave up and knew I had to walk. Ran about 20m of the ride on #15 because I was frustrated. It was painful but possible. Hurt a lot until I iced it for a while, then was only bad if I bent it too much- stairs basically were hard.

Day 2- Balfour Forest
Enjoyed this day a lot more, caught Sarah at #2 but managed to stay ahead so she wouldn't throw me off and by #4 couldn't see her. Was having a really good run but was losing focus at #11 since it was so near the end and counted 2 tracks to go over so kept running to the second track... right at the bottom. As soon as i got onto it I realised because there weren't even 2 tracks. So stupid just lost concentration near the end and cost me 5 mins to get back up again (6 contours). Still my highest position I think but could've done better, was so stupid.
