SUSSEX XC CHAMPS
3 laps, lost loads of time on 1st lap because didn’t want to go off too fast. Turned out I took it too easy and had loads left in the tank so overtook people. Don’t really know how to run cross country. Didn’t feel like I pushed v hard at all could’ve done it maybe a couple of mins faster but v fun and an enjoyable course. Top 15 and 2nd place U17 girls team.

Tryna keep my spag bol down. V happily succeeded (just) and walked up every single hill:) Bristol looks pretty at night though so worth the conditions and had good tour guides ta Jim and Scott.

Went on a lovely walk up the Down’s pretty sore ta Kelly but this is a rest week so not too fussed. Got Sussex XC on Saturday though.

Feeling rather battered and bruised and probably upped the training a bit more than I should’ve so going to rest tomorrow and let the niggles settle. Can’t wait to go bramble bashing instead:)

Hill session with the bois. 1200m + 2x600m + 5x hill sprints. Had a gd chat with vince about my atrocious running style so hopefully it will feel natural soon and I’ll speed up a bit. Cramps pretty sore but in gd spirits so did the whole session:)
