Fitball and weights tone up session this evening, with so many bugs trying to bite while we had our hands busy! I think Mike wanted to make this a very hard session just before Christmas.

Training session at Kooyoora - Thanks Jim and Leon for organising it! I did the control picking exercise in the reverse order, and cleared the spider webs for the group's 2nd half of their course, and they had cleared them from my 2nd half. Pleased with my navigation; had a couple of messy controls where I went to the wrong group of rocks, but knew very quickly and was able to located the correct area soon. Thanks for posting this up Neil.

Met Jenny on her way in from Maiden Gully (she was running), and ran from Specimen Hill Rd to Lake Weeroona where we participated in the Step into Life Powerflex session.. Walked home after that via the shops and did some Christmas spending. Left home at 7am, got home at 11.45am. It was a big morning.

Cardio session tonight included a 5km time trial, 3.5 times around Lake Weeroona. My garmin recorded my time as 25:44 (I was regretting the 3 pieces of pizza I ate at lunchtime the whole way around). This was a bit slower than I like to run, because of my tummy. Got a gut ache tonight.

Set out with Jenny to run about 5 km at No. 7 / Crusoe; Jenny is injured and we jogged 3.5km then walked 3km. i didn't go any further.

Cardio session at Step into Life. A humid and evening afternoon, so our legs felt heavy. Mick started the session with a sick joke and it went on from there, ending with teams playing tricks on each other so the other group was left doing more tricept dips. it was fun.

Went to the early morning tone up session, because I had today off work & there's a work dinner on tonight. ovely morning, but the grass was wet and i kept slipping off the fitball!

Orienteering on a golf course! This was the end of year club break up function. The event was a one hour score with 20 controls which had point values of 2 to 5 points. The first 5 controls we went to had a multiplier of 5 points, the next 5 had a multiplier of 4 times, and so on to 2. This meant we had to get to the most distant controls first up, and we were running the course several times over the hour. Quite a hilly course but very beautiful! And lots of fun! Back was good too!

Powerflex session included a 2km jog/walk. Back still a bit sore & stiff. Stretching was so good for it this morning!

Went for a neighborhood run. Took it at a gentle pace to avoid back pain. After spending the afternoon standing in the kitchen My back was feeling a little stiff. Felt much better after the jog.

Cardio session. I attended, expecting to only be able to walk, but after a fair amount of walking, got into jogging with soccer balls, doing some other ball relays, some intervals( which I just jogged along to) and then a 4 km run. Very satisfying and pleasing to not hurt!
