Preliminary yaping the 3 tops wood section with Clive. Dry and fast.

Just feeling not all there at the moment. Consistency has dropped off due to illnesses etc. but still feeling quite tired. Still happy and enjoying myself though, maybe just not quite got into a routine yet. Got a while until I race next, then another while to the next one. There's no rush, but a Beautiful Gypsy Lady did tell me I can use the DB as an excuse for 2 years so I've plenty of time!

Went to body rehab to get my chronically achy knees looked at. Some strengthening to do, especially on left leg, where knee is a bit out of line. Now K-taped like a 58 year old entry level ultra runner

Kinder Downfall 8th.
A beautiful day on one of my favourite races. Lost and gained a place in William Clough. Felt the strongest I have for a good while - no wobbly feeling.
I may have been 5mins down on my 2016 best, but really pleased with this and feeling shows that base is pretty good. Just need to get a bit more speed now!

7 7s on a lovely clear, if at times brisk day. Brute of a route, especially this early in the year. Spent a lot of the race playing leapfrog with Kieran, just being Pete D. So about where I'd expect to be? Moving ok but no real fluidity and did have the slight uncoordinated feeling of Coledale again. Top 20 champs position heavily massaged by a sparse field but you can only beat thems that turn up.
